Bicknell Farmers Market 5-31-08, well the 'Strawberry Fest' today (31st) was a huge success selling out of strawberry shortcake, hot dogs, soda and coffee. It appears the 'Strawberry Fest' will be repeated again next Saturday June 7th. For some reason our vendors were down to two although if somebody had brought strawberries they likely could have sold out. The folks with the pies sold out again for the third week in a row. A vendor with garage sale items was here and I know he had at least some sales. We really need produce and crafts. Fact is more vendors are needed, please call first for confirmation and details, 735-4636 or 735-2502. No charge. The market is sponsored by the Bicknell Good Start Committee. To help with the Good Start Committee you can volunteer to help with the markets and attend the Good Start meetings on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Bicknell Fire Station.
