Ron started in the real estate business in 1973 as a salesman in another company. Prior to that he was raised on a farm in Widner Township and then operated the family farm while raising Jersey dairy cattle. He still is interested in Jerseys and attends the All American Jersey Show in Louisville every year. For fun he likes to help run the Colonial and Contra Dance Group that dances at the Rendezvous each year. Ron has a son Andy, 29, who is a network administrator for a federal credit union in Portland OR.

Ron personally takes a strong interest in progress of the Bicknell and North Knox Area. He is an active member of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, The North Knox Committee, Knox County Board of Realtors, Indiana Assn of Realtors, National Assn of Realtors, Bicknell Kiwanis Club, past 4-H Leader as well as lending a hand wherever needed locally.

He has bought and sold several properties in the North Knox area and currently has several rental units, some of which may become available to buy or rent shortly.
